Mindfulness, Creativity & Innovation:

A recent World Economic Forum report stated that the skill of Creativity would move from its place as the 10th most important skill for recruitment globally across industries, to being the 3rd most important skill by 2020. Beginning with Mindfulness techniques to increase awareness in thinking (metacognition) and explanations from neuroscience, this workshop activates the creative capacities of every participant so that the responsibility for innovation in your company no longer rests with a small “Creative types” minority.

Cognitive Agility:

Cognitive Flexibility is the latest skill to be identified by the World Economic Forum as being one of the Top 10 skills necessary for the global workplace (across industries) in 2020.
This workshop draws from neuroscience, psychology and philosophy to help participants identify their habitual thinking style and introduces new gears of consciousness (also known as “modes of mind in mindfulness traditions) available to them. Without this awareness thinking is unknowingly controlled by unconscious triggers in the environment such as situations, places, people – and habit. After the workshop, participants have a new awareness of additional thinking styles available to them, and their applicability to different tasks in their working day.

As traditional methods of stress reduction fail to stem the rise in mental health problems in the workplace, we must set in motion innovative ways of addressing these problems to create a more fully engaged, energised and purpose-filled workplace. Developing and integrating your company’s “why” in to its day-to-day functioning far beyond the usual charitable donations and sponsored walks, provides your team with an organisational culture that offers a way of life – and the “why” of life. This workshop introduces participants to ways to find meaning in their own lives and ways to integrate these in to your corporate culture.

Holistic HR: Putting Spirituality to Work

How can a company, employee or Team Leader create a more meaningful workplace? Research has shown that spirituality is linked to increased resilience yet few companies attempt to make policies that encompass the whole person or really practise Holistic HR. There is empirical evidence that millennials engage with, and purchase more when they connect with the message of an organisation but the message must be authentic and filter through each aspect of an organisation. Is it possible to lead from behind rather than in front? how can company decrease lost work days by adding Spirituality?

You-nique:

How can you put your purpose in to everyday life, learn to use your various gears of consciousness, improve relationships, increase your resilience and get happier! This course mixes learning from mindfulness meditation, positive psychology and spirituality ( awe, meaning, aspiration and more) to help the individual to arrive at new insights about themselves and to develop a plan of action to inspire them to be the best possible version of themselves.

Spirituality: The 3rd Column of Health and Wellness

Despite the fact that mankind is often described as “mind, body, spirit” we live in a culture that completely ignores this latter aspect of well being. Spirituality is considered to be a character strength in Positive Psychology research (the study of happiness) yet despite rising suicide rates, we are unwilling to discuss it.  This course gives an introduction to why spirituality is good for us, how it might affect our health, concentration, relationships, sleep, and overall well being – right down to our genetics!

8 week Mindfulness based Stress Reduction

At my clinic in Dundrum, Dublin, I work on a one-to-one basis with people from all works of life. Clients attend the clinic (previously known as Access Psychology) to achieve change in their personal and/or professional lives. For some, this means increasing their self-confidence, overcoming a phobia, or learning to decrease anxiety, panic attacks or stress.

Other visitors to the clinic come for support in managing a chronic illness, pain or severe IBS. And others come to receive coaching to help them to set clear personal goals and to see them through to achievement.
